The cotton canvas is sturdy but still folds up neatly to stash in my backpack when I'm done shopping. Fits a loaf of bread, a bottle of wine, and my library books all at once without sagging.
Took this on a bike ride last weekend for a picnic and was shocked how much it swallowed—two water bottles, a blanket, and still room for snacks. The cotton feels sturdy enough to handle the daily grocery run too, and the cookies on the side were a nice bonus.
The canvas is thick enough that I don't worry about it tearing when I stuff in groceries and a picnic blanket at the same time. Fits a whole bag of cookies on top without bulging awkwardly, which is exactly what I needed.
